Lovely breakfast at this stand out place. Another triumph for castlegate cafe. Quality and value for money unrivalled in Carlisle. My go to place for friendly and attentive service and always lovely food.
Lovely cafe in a great location. All our food was excellent and not too expensive. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Loads of choice on the menu, great for vegetarians. Their freshly baked scones are delicious. Great little cafe with a lovely atmosphere . Best place for a catch up with family and friends.Highly recommend!

This is the loveliest cafe in in Carlisle, the food is always fresh and the staff friendly. Went for lunch with some friends and we thoroughly enjoyed it, it was the best Cheese as one I’ve had (after my Nana’s of course). We have also had there Afternoon Tea Takeaways which are absolutely gorgeous. We will definitely be going back.
