A group of 9 visited here yesterday to celebrate a birthday. We had a large table and everything looked very nice & clean. We ordered drinks when we were seated which included a mix of pints, juice and cocktails, and we then ordered food. Closure of the Howard prompted a visit to this venue, sadly didn’t live up to Howard standards; food was tasty but warm at best and it took over 45 mins to arrive which was a shame given attentiveness of waiting staff. The search for an alternative continues.

Not a bad spot but I found the food and service not bad but no more than that really Ordered the Crispy Parma Benedict but it lacked a little"crisp!" and the hollandaise was underwhelming-shame Service a little underwhelming and found a skidmark in the mens loo! Like the decor but many better places in Carlisle
