Sally's was a perfect place to break our journey up the M6. We enjoyed a delicious, freshly made lunch served by welcoming, attentive staff. We'll definitely stop here again - 100% more enjoyable than a service station!

I come back every week. Best cafe in Carlisle. Sally and ladies behind the counter are lovely. The food and cakes are tasty and very reasonably priced. 10/10.

Found this little gem by chance as I had arranged to meet a work colleague for a quick catch up on the A69. when I arrived the place was mobbed with happy chatty customers, But the staff quickly cleared me a table and helped me select a lovely home made spicy tomato soup, I also had one of their own sausage rolls that they warmed up for me, My workmate joined me and had a lovely traybake and piping hot earl grey tea. The service was fast and the staff were really friendly and chatty. Prices were very reasonable, The choice of bakery products is extensive. I will be back. ?

What a treasure. I was looking for an alternative to motorway services and discovered Sally’s Cafe. Lovely staff, dog friendly, and lovely, simple food. Just what was needed. Great service with a little treat for our dog too. So much better than manic service station, although this is a popular little place and can get busy. We were so impressed we routed ourselves back here on our homeward journey a week later. Was every bit as good as the first visit. Will definitely be back soon.

Food was so so,1/2 a sausage roll each? Stale quiche and some sandwiches, scones ok and cakes but £39 for 2 is not fair, stick to carlisle cafe’s in future,

We stopped at Sally's as my 6 month old was desperate for a feed and we are so glad we did. Wonderful atmosphere, dog friendly, lovely food, good amenities and nice and clean. The icing on the cake has to be the staff, they couldn't do enough to help travelling with 2 kids 2 dogs and 2 adults is a challenge but they were amazing :)Kid-friendliness: Baby changing facilities, high chairs available, friendly staff and even a box of toys :)Parking: Limited free parking at front

Fabulous little cafe just off the A69, it’s well worth getting off the M6 & making the short detour to get good food & delicious cakes The blueberry & lemon scones are a sheer delight. Excellent service, we’ll definitely use Sally’s again when travelling north & will be recommending to family & friends.

Called in at lunchtime today, both got jacket potatoes with filling, as we had spied the cakes on our way in, we thought it would be rude not too, so my friend had the chocolate brownie, I just had to have the sone with jam/cream…got to say they didn’t disappoint….lovely place and friendly staff..will definitely be back, left with full bellies
