Found this little gem by chance as I had arranged to meet a work colleague for a quick catch up on the A69. when I arrived the place was mobbed with happy chatty customers, But the staff quickly cleared me a table and helped me select a lovely home made spicy tomato soup, I also had one of their own sausage rolls that they warmed up for me, My workmate joined me and had a lovely traybake and piping hot earl grey tea. What a treasure. I was looking for an alternative to motorway services and discovered Sally’s Cafe. Lovely staff, dog friendly, and lovely, simple food. Just what was needed. Great service with a little treat for our dog too. So much better than manic service station, although this is a popular little place and can get busy.
