Me and my partner have been to the Shaha a few times and each time we have given it a few chances as the food was really nice. This time we recommended a meal with friends and wow we got there and never felt so alienated. Waited ages to be served, constantly felt dismissed. Very nice Indian restaurant. Took a chance on it based on recent poor reviews and we were pleased we did. Service was very good and pleasant, albeit the restaurant was very quiet given it was a Tuesday night. Had Poppadoms and accompanying platter to start (basically the usual stuff). For Main Course, I had the Chicken Tikka Pathia and I really enjoyed it. My partner had the Vegetable Korma and she enjoyed that too. A bit out of the centre but worth seeking out. Some very different choices from the usual Indian menu and a wide range of rices ( eg peshwari and keema rice) Good service, very good food and reasonably priced.
