We stopped at Carlisle on way home from family wedding looking for something to eat spotted the St Nicholas arms we were received by a fine young man who escorted us to a table we ordered our food I had the steak pie my wife had chicken parmo and my son the rump steak they were all superb my compliments to the chef!! The service was quick maybe because they werent busy but still served with a smile GREAT !If we ever make it back this way I'll certainly pay another visit...read full review
After walking out of another establishment in the town centre, for lack of any service, we decided to walk down and try here for food. From the moment we stepped inside we were treated like old friends. Great crack, brilliant service and the food was amazing. We will definitely be returning, hopefully becoming regulars.

Popped in here on New Year's Day with my better half for a bar meal ... never been before but WOW .. we will be back. We had 2 absolutely delicious meals. Beautifully cooked, great portions, great prices Absolutely recommended ?.
