Been here a few times, lovely enclosed beer garden to sit in. As the name of the bar suggests it's up a lane to access,you would probably miss it ,if it wasn't for a sign directing you to it. Worth a visit. Staff are very friendly. Will be back once we visit carlisle again.
Attend on a sunny Saturday sat on the terrace it was lovely great atmosphere and brilliant service the staff were helpful even though there's were clearly very busy I would definitely return great spot for drinks with the girls

If visiting the city of Carlisle make sure you make a visit to The Lane Bar. A hidden gem. Love that there are lots of cosy spaces where you can meet with friends and have a conversation without shouting!. Qwuerky and Stylishly decorated, great barman and owner who really looked after us. Highly recommend!! There is seating inside and out. Lovely outside area and balcony area.
