The Smithy at Holme really is a great place to eat. We pre-booked our table and arrived 5 minutes early. We chose our drinks and main course and were sat down within 5 minutes. The host, Tom, and his staff are very polite and professional and easy to talk too. Nothing is too much trouble for them. It’s not the first time we’ve visited and it won’t be the last. Great local pub, with a good range of well served beers, lovely food and friendly staff. First visit but it won't be our last. All the food was perfectly cooked, pub very busy but food came quickly. Great range on the menu.....well worth a visit.

This was our 4th visit in recent months and all have been really good. Lovely village pub The food is excellent and never fails to disappoint. It is really good value for money and good children’s choice too. The staff are always helpful nothing too much trouble. Children are made welcome Highly recommend it.
