The best stop over for travelling to Scotland!Firstly lovely staff and beautiful Hotel.Very well priced for a very nice room with good views.We are returning on our way back from Scotland in a weeks time.Also very accommodating with our dog ?
Only stayed one night and would have liked more. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating, some of the best I've encountered. Made sure we got a table for dinner even though the kitchen was due to close.and were cheerful throughout. The place is very tastefully decorated and is a charming old pub. The food is really good and priced about right as well. The room was smallish but big enough for two people, bed was comfy and the view out of the window was over the churchyard...read full review

Period building going back to 1600s. Limited menu although most is cooked on the premises to a high standard. Staff friendly and attentive. Potions are a tad undersize but still makes for a great dining experience. Wheelchair friendly. Dogs especially welcome
