Visiting Kendal for a couple of nights and looked up pubs doing a quiz. We saw that The New Union was listed. We were pleasantly surprised how warm and welcoming it was. Didn't do well in the quiz but thoroughly enjoyed it. Will certainly be returning.
Great choice of real ales and an ever growing and amazing selection of whisky. Phil, the landlord is very welcoming, as is Nina, Ivor, Dan and the rest of the team.If you want quality ales and spirits, this place is a must!
