Love this little restaurant and pop in when we’re in Keswick. However, tried yesterday, Monday, and it was closed, that’s absolutely fine we understand it could be too quiet on a Monday to be worthwhile opening, it could be closed during January when it’s quieter or due to illness, the problem is there are no signs to say when it is open, we thought we may be too early so wandered around then went back, still closed. Unlike another comment on here, we found the cafe delightful. The staff were so pleasant, so much so, we came back and had a lovely meal and the waitress even remembered that we didn't need sugar as we were sweet enough, my comment on the previous visit.Go to the cafe and enjoy

Lovely looking little cafe, food was decent, plenty of options. 30 minute wait for breakfast without prior warning which wasn't great but when it came we did enjoy it. Only downfall is the staff. No pleasantries, no smiling faces, as if they didn't want customers!
