We went in for a celebratory meal out on our 28th Wedding Anniversary. As ale drinkers, we were happy with the bar offering and set too with a couple of pints of Wainwright’s which were very nice, clearly well looked after in the cellar and nicely served. (Yes, I’m an ex Publican!). A proper village pub serving very good food. Steaks & burgers seem particularly popular. Some South African items on the menu which is rather unique. Friendly and attentive staff.

Lovely steak meal and burger. Very reasonably priced. Welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff. Great welcome! Nice to have somewhere where our dog was made so welcome too!Parking: Very easy to park outside.
