Good hotel in a fantastic location. Shame no gym but then I wasn't there for leisure and couldn't head out for a walk in the stunning

Nice people. Very pretty and clean. The twin beds slide around a lot which was annoying and uncomfortable. The view from our window was great until you looked down and saw rubbish.

My family and I came to stay here last year on our way to Scotland. The rooms, food, location and service was amazing and we loved it so much we came again this year!! Absolutely wonderful stay.

I’ve stayed here a few times and always given great reviews. Unfortunately, this time I was a bit let down. The room had some large hairs in the shower area when I arrived so that part of the cleaning had been overlooked. I’m not really fussy but these were multiple hairs that were very visible. Then overnight the heating wasn’t on so I was very cold and ended up putting a jumper on in bed until the heating came on around 6, but went off at half 7. And it was cold again. So clearly designed for those leaving early. And that may be most people as there was lots of door banging early on (we had a room by the lift). The check out was 10am, which is also early compared to other hotels these days. I also felt the refillable shower gel and shampoo containers had seen better days and something more durable might work better. It used to be a regular stop for us but we may reconsider.

Overnight stay due to work. Didn't turn up till nearly 9 but they fitted me in the restaurant although it was just about to close. Rooms were nice, clean and looked recently refreshed. Lovely location and convenient being on the services. Would definitely stay there again. Thumbs up from me.

Perfect stopping point, the rooms are superb with comfortable beds. The restaurant food was amazing. Will be backRooms: Very large and comfortableFood & drinks: The food is amazing
Our go to lunch stop off when heading to Scotland. Drive past the service station up to the hotel for a quiet (no crowds), sit down meal with great views. I had haddock, chips, mushy peas with tartar sauce, the family had: pie of the day (turkey, ham & leek), chips & cabbage; salt beef sandwich; and falafel sandwich. Very nice. Expect to pay restaurant prices, but worth it.
