My room (number 1), a twin room, was itself clean, warm, and comfortable. The ensuite was very cold. The old building and the location at the top of the main access stairs unfortunately meant it was very noisy. The lack of WiFi out with public areas was a definite negative. Staff were lovely.
We stayed for 4 nights whilst in the area and had a mixed bag of feelings about this establishment. Whilst the staff are excellent, friendly and very helpful, they are somewhat let down by the establishment even though "it is an old building" (the managers excuse for many things).We initially put in room 6 which has a emergency exit sign above the door that illuminates the room throughout the night bright green, so don't expect to get a good night's sleep unless you've brought...read full review

When I checked in and went to my room, it was freezing cold. It felt like the heating hadn't been on for a while. After mentioning it to the staff member, it was then switched on. It took a long time to heat the room as it was so big. Breakfast was great and friendly staff.
