Fab little cafe in Buttermere; we visited after a long walk and had the soup (vegetable broth) which came with a lovely warm bread roll, followed by delicious cakes and tea/coffee. The place itself was really warm and inviting, and the staff were super friendly. Fabulous Tea Room with wonderfully friendly staff, and the most divine vegetarian pie I’ve ever had!I have to admit that I really wasn’t keen on the idea of a Curried Cauliflower Pie - but I was hungry and thought if I don’t like it at least I’ll have mashed potatoes to line my stomach.
