Boot, HolmrookWe have just finished our 2nd successive holiday in Boot, once again it was amazing and we can’t wait to come back. My wife and I and our dog Obi had a fantastic time. One of the things that really makes it is the Boot Inn, what a place! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is amazing and the staff are brilliant in everything they do. They make everyone feel so welcome and just create the best atmosphere. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is thinking of a holiday to the Lake District. Finally, a huge thank you to everyone at the Boot Inn that made our holiday so special

Syke Farm Tea Room
Syke Farm, Buttermere, CockermouthEvery time I come here it never fails to disappoint. The quality of what they serve is apparent, their ice cream is delicious their bakes always look very inviting although I’ve not had one myself yet but I can personally recommend the Cat Bells Avocado Smash, probably one of the nicest things I’ve ever tasted and I’m not exaggerating when I say that. Definitely pay here a visit you won’t be disappointed.

Croft House Farm Café
Buttermere, CockermouthA little more expensive than some cafés but acceptable for a tourist type cafe. Can walk to Buttermere lake, parking a bit more expensive than normal streamline parking but convenient.
