Dropped in here as we were passing and glad we did. Friendly staff and good food at really reasonable prices. We had rump steak and a steak pie. Both very nice with excellent chips and a little crunchy salad. Beer was good too. If we were in the area again we would eat here again.
This was our second meal at the Dog & Partridge, it was certainly an experience but not necessarily a perfect one…Our first trip to this pub was mid 2022 when we stopped for lunch one day, it was quiet and the food was great, unfortunately the same can’t be said for tonight’s visit.The good points…- We managed to get in at 7pm on a Friday night which is great.- The decor is lovely, it’s a very cosy place to be.- The prices are reasonable.- The staff are very friendly.A...read full review

First time trying Thai night at the Dog. The food was really fabulous, very authentic and flavoursome. Always a great night out, friendly staff, good service and a great pint of poretti!
