Just been to see the new landlords menu and this guy knows how to cook!I had a very tasty wagyu burger with a fried egg and blue cheese!! It was a taste sensation! Multiple choices for all taste buds!! Hope other visitors to the pub can support the local village pub that seems to be sadly disappearing all around the
We love our visit to this friendly, welcoming pub when we come to Cumbria to see family. Landlady and staff friendly, always accommodating and helpful.Kid-friendliness: There's a family eating area and childrens menu.

Called on the off chance for food as we were passing, warm welcome by staff.. Food was lovely, we had Steak pie and Cumberland Sausage, all very fresh, hot and tasty - will definitely call again soon.
