I've been going here on and off for about 15 years. These days it's unfortunately a little 'rough' -- some evenings one can survey the scene from a corner table and see visions of what the post-apocalyptic pub-scape might look like. Lots of tracksuit bottoms, awkward encounters with meat heads, casual swearing and semi-violent tension in there but this is of no reflection of the staff. Had a great afternoon, place was spotlessly clean and staff went into toilets very regularly, staff were happy polite quick and friendly what more could we ask for thanks to you all

Good food and service at very reasonable prices. Pleased to discover that they are now serving a wider selection of well-kept real ales than was previously the case (and they offer discount to CAMRA members). Will definitely we returning more often.Kid-friendliness: Good place for families with wide selection of kids meals.
