What a great experience. Very quirky. The staff made us feel very welcome. The fillet steak was amazing as was the lemon cheesecake. Presentation of the food was great. We will be back again ?

Thank goodness I know the area as finding and parking is fun!! That said the ambiance is terrific the staff very welcoming and the food superb. A finer cut of beef would be hard to find, and that it hadn't come far a testament to Mr Grumpy and his herd of cattle. Mrs Grumpy has a herd of goats and from them beautiful cheese products. I would definitely recommend to anyone if you've not tried, and in Winter a log fire is most welcoming.

What a fabulous place. Loved every second of our visit from start to finish. Quirky, cosy and rustic, and the food was divine. Starters were beautiful and the steaks were second to none. Made to feel very welcome by the lovely attentive staff and great banter with the grumpy farmer too. We will definitely be back and will be highly recommending this excellent experience to everyone, Just take extra care on the driveway down as it’s full of potholes.
