Had a pit stop here after a lovely day out walking in Hartington. Just popped in for a drink and the staff were really accommodating and friendly as were the fellow customers. Baby and dog friendly with a good choice of beer alongside a great cup of tea! Warm, cosy and friendly!
Went here in 2017 for NYE party night,and it was brilliant. 2023 what a complete let down the food was terrible,and then they tried to over charge me for it. it was advertised at 40 quid a head,they tried to change me 50 quid a head,and the breakfast the next morning was just as badIt's such a shame to see what was a fabulous pub/hotel do a complete turn around and become some where to avoid in such a lovely village in Derbyshire
