We came on a Sunday & came across this chip shop while walking through the town centre.We ordered cod & chips to eat in for 4.Staff were very friendly, but we had to wait around 40 mins for food to be served as they were busy with delivery orders etc..Staff were very apologetic for the wait & told us there was a problem with one of the fryers & a backlog of orders. I can’t fault the food despite the wait.Definitely worth a visit if you’re in town.
Really lovely take away fish n chips with mushy peas. Batter not too thick but lovely n tasty. People marking down for atmosphere but it's a cafe/chippy, come on people it's not Michelin starred. We walked down from "Upper" and it was worth
