Whilst camping locally we decided to pop in for an afternoon meal after a walk, the service from the staff was excellent from start to finish even though they were short staffed there was no waiting for drinks, food or the table to be cleaned.The food itself was well priced and with a decent variety too and will definitely be back, which we did the following day for Sunday lunch, which again was a great meal for the 2 of us and was perfectly cooked.We'll be back that's for sure.
This review is purely a review based upon coming to eat here without a room or any reservation. The staff were nice however there is a certain attitude to all staff which makes you feel like they are better than you, the staff member serving our table was very nice with a kind and funny attitude. The prices are quite high for the food quality how the presentation is relatively nice and better than any restaurant. What a wonderful, quiet campsite. Very clean and tidy with wonderful views. Very well organised and lovely clean shower block. Good evening meal, reasonably priced with vegetarian options. Staff very friendly and welcoming. What not to like! Will definitely return.
