Last visited three years ago. Popular place. Was quite busy on first visit so no table for four of us but someone offered to swap tables. Good selection of real ales. Ate at the other Wetherspoon this time. Just had drinks here. Staff were helpful but was not happy to see one staff member emptying the drip tray from the water dispenser back into the said dispenser. All good experience for family, I had 8oz steak with chips.... wife won't eat beef or lamb she's preferred pork steak, not the salty gamon ... they don't have it. She had half chicken instead....

Honestly such an amazing place to stay!! Cathrine is absolutely amazing and can’t do enough to please.!!!! She is fantastic and made my evening so much more enjoyable!! Thank you CathrineRooms: Room is spacious and has all the amenities you would expect. Usb charge points!! Shame they are only near the desk but otherwise very comfy and very homely
