Visited for takeaway small fish and chips meal deal. Not sure how it's a deal at £8.40 but anyway that's only one grumble. The main issue was the very tiny piece of fish in very soggy batter and the chips were barely warm and had obviously been cooked well in advance of our visit. Took a friend there for lunch. She was very pleased with the meal.The batter on the fish was nice and crispy and the fish was nice and soft . The chips were also crisp with soft centres.The staff were helpful with my friends allergies which she found reassuring.Dietary restrictions: Very helpful to my friend with her allergies.Thank you.

My son fetched me some fish and chips yesterday October 13th and they were really poor, he came at around 2.15.. the fish was so dried out it was like chewing cardboard, the peas were also dried out. Normally the fish is cooked on order so whether this one had been kept warm for a long time I don’t know but I was extremely disappointed.
