Lovely local pub. Great selection of beers, ciders, gins, you name it. Traditional interior, good outdoor area with plenty of seating. Great when they have their Sausage and Cider Festival on! Staff are all always so friendly ?
Myself and the wife popped in here on whim. Approaching the door, that looks as though it should be grade 2 listed on its own, I turned to the missus and said "all the chatter inside makes it sound like a medieval tavern" I opened the door and literally walked into a medieval tavern. Really nice pub run by friendly folk a couple of miles outside of Belper. Serves a good range or real ales , ciders and perries. A couple of nice snugs one of which has its own serving hatch which is a rarity! Lovely pub worth seeking out. Dog friendly and very welcoming! ? ? ? ? ?Parking: I had no bother finding a spot on the street
