Good pints of ale, staff friendly i bet in the summer when the beer garden is open its even better. Fairly small inside with people dining and sometimes a little too loud with locals volume but overall good pub.
It's an extremely nice place to visit, I've given a 5star for the atmosphere but it wasn't busy by any means but just nice enough to enjoy a good conversation over a meal without worrying who can listen in ha ha.Food and service was amazing and I'd definitely recommend the onion soup for a starter... To die for!

Called in for lunch on Easter Saturday, from being greeted by the young lady behind the bar who was really pleasant and polite, to the food and drinks, everything was first class and will definitely return for food, will also plan to have a day in the beer garden when the weather is right.
