“Great, old fashioned (in a good way !), comfortable, country pub on the main road from Dronfield through Holmsfield. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.
Good car park.
Outdoor seating.
Sells Carling so I know my husband will definitely be back.
Walked past many times, but never visited before, although it always seems very popular.
Dogs seemed to be welcome.
Check opening times before visiting .”

“Absolutely fantastic pub , a true hidden gem. The food choices here are fantastic, but down to earth. It's real food you really want to eat , in a cosy environment. Be sure to order something from their insanely good cheese board menu - so many options !
We loved their stew in a fresh crusty bread loaf, nachos , fish fingers sarnies and small plates too - you can't go wrong ! 10/10”

“Came here after a long hike in the Peak District with our dog to watch the England game. The landlord and landlady were lovely and although we weren’t from the area everyone made us feel welcome. Very fair priced drinks and a lovely friendly atmosphere.
Will defo be back when we’re in the area”
