This pub is on the peak District boundary walk and I can thoroughly recommend it. I was too tired to think after walking from Redmires but the lady behind the bar patiently helped me choose something to revive me.
Great friendly pub in lovely location, fantastic cheeseboards with probably around 30 cheeses (my guess) to choose from, nachos and pork pies. Good choice of ales, wines and spirits particularly whiskies and all fairly priced for the quality and portion size received.Parking: Further parking round corner.

Stopped in for drinks on the way back from a walk.Lovely environment, great choice of drinks, the food menu looked lovely (but didn't eat) and I can't wait for the summer to enjoy the beer garden.
