Had afternoon tea today 12th dec to celebrate my mums 90th birthday & what a lovely tea it was, we had two savoury stands & one sweet & more than enough for 6 people with some to take home, service was excellent & food tasty & fresh, a lovely family afternoon, thank you
Always take the kids to Millies cafe for a milkshake and cake for a treat. The cakes are so yummy and soft and always a variety of flavours. They look after the kids so well and also like to look out the windows at the trains. My personal favourite is the tuna cheese toasties and the coleslaw on the side is beautiful ?
Nice hidden place..not cheap,so don't expect a cheap and cheerful experience. Food was nice albeit toasties. Only gripe was the staff seemed to be students who you hear messing around constantly..
