We stayed here, impromptu, in our campervan after travelling up from Hull. Decided to stop here as it was dog friendly, which is always beneficial when you've got a Husky... Had lunch at the pub, which was delicious, and so invited family from Derby to join us for an evening meal later that day. Woke up in the morning and came for breakfast, and the staff on duty was absolutely fantastic. He was friendly, approachable, knowledgeable, and hugely hospitable. Great service, lovely seating area in the conservatory. We had a 3 course meal each and enjoyed all every course. Proper country pub food with a modern twist. Decent portions also.We will be visiting again soon.

Came here for drinks one night, and Sunday dinner the next. Nice pub and staff. Sunday dinner was okay potatoes were a little hard but otherwise plenty of it, so overall it was fine.
