The Old School House Deli Cafe
School Ln, Stanton by Dale, IlkestonWe only had takeaway coffee. The ladies were lovely and working very hard! There were lots of customers, and three people definitely weren’t enough. I waited 20 minutes for my coffee, but the friendly service made up for the wait. I didn’t try any food, and inside it was a bit smoky, so if you go out afterward, you might smell of grease and frying. Toilet was clean. Recommended to try if around area.

The 2 staff were so friendly and attentive, the food was better than I remember and I have always enjoyed it. \nWe had the shared starters and 4 completely different mains. The steak was cooked perfectly, the light batter on the lemon chicken was so good, a duck stir fry got the thumbs up and I had a coconut curry with chicken which was so tasty and so plentiful that I couldn't eat it all. \nMy only complaint is that the tables are a little small for all the scrumptious dishes, but we worked round that :) \nWe'll eat here again for a night out and have added it to our takeaway list.

14 Station Rd, Sandiacre, NottinghamBeen for drinks which is always good, but never quite managed food, so thought I would check it out on a Friday afternoon.\n\nArrive around 2pm and it was very busy and good to see, lovely atmosphere too and just managed to get a table.\n\nNice choice of food, table service was a bonus too as expected to order at the bar.\n\nReasonable wait times for food, and coffee was nice too.\n\nThis place has got it right, and also offer themed nights if you're looking for something extra.\n\nWe will be back.
