We are long time customers but haven't used the admiral for a considerable time while we cut back on take-aways. However popped in for a quick fish and chips. I have to say, the meal was brilliant. The fish was unbelievably fresh and tasted as good as anything by the sea. The chips were really good also. 2 years ago: Always a queue because it's so popular. Customer parking, huge portions, delicious food and reasonably priced. Love itNow changed hands. No queue even on Friday evening. Food is probably still better than most depending on who's cooking but nothing to rave about unfortunately.

The fish and chips are very tasty and cooked while you wait. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely go again if in the area.Parking: There is a car park at the rear of the premises with plenty of spaces.
