Awesome little place to stop for a pint or a glass of water at the middle of a hike. The patrons are kind and understanding and you can buy a bottle of wine for home if u everything else is closed. There's a beautiful little fire place inside and they sometimes sell firewood. Make sure to book in advance if you want a warm seat inside. It was a wet and wild day, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine care, wet dogs and muddy as we were. The fire was stoked, the food was excellent and there were even games to play. We had a smashing time

Popped in for a sandwich after a walk on the rocks behind the pub. The sandwich was gorgeous and possibly the nicest chips I've ever had. Only problem was it was about pricey for a couple of sandwiches and a drink, but maybe that's just me not getting with the times. Would definitely go back to try something else off the menu.
