Lovely setting at Wimbleball Reservoir... cafe shut, but kiosk open for drinks and light bites... lovely " ham and cheese toastie " bit expensive though, but lovely nevertheless.... so why not give yourself a treat!!!
Nice little cafe not far from Wimbleball Lake. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices and a wide range of drinks with non-dairy alternatives for milk in drinks. Ice cream and food available. Currnetly the indoor seating area is closed so serving is via a hatch. Payment via card only. Big car park adjacent (NOT the ACTIVITY CENTRE CAR PARK) and access to wonderful walsk arond the magnificent lake and to the spectacular dam on the lake.

The only place near the lake to get any food and drinks, and boy do they know this. £6.50 for a ham and cheese toastie - 2 slices of bog standard bread with just regular ham and cheddar. And our sandwich came with mould inside! To their credit, the cafe apologised and replaced the item without fuss, but good grief, you expect more for the price!
