“Called in at 3pm on a Thursday afternoon to be greeted by the friendliest landlord I’ve ever met. It was a bit of a nostalgia trip as the last time we were there was 1976!
We ordered off the sandwich menu & none of us were disappointed, they were all delicious.
Wine was good & the boys all agreed the beer was excellent. We will definitely make a detour to vist this hostilary again.”

“Best fish and chips shop I have been to, I think for me this beats krispies now. The food was amazing, service was top tier with very friendly and attentive staff. I can see why it was booked out and you need to book in advance, the takeway section is also busy to. They offer free top up chips which was fabtastic and thier milkshake were one of the best.”

“Best Carvery I've enjoyed in years. We were given a generous portion of the three meats on offer - Turkey, Pork (with cracking), Lamb. All extremely tasty. A generous assortment of vegetables, potatoes and Yorkshire pudding available. Gravy was excellent

“Literally unreal! Came here multiple times during my stay in Croyde and the scran always hit the spot. The Sri Lankan curry was out of this world (vegan option!!!) especially with the gorgeous sea views. Their cheesy chips are perfection and their baguettes are lovely and crusty. Staff are lovely and able to explain all allergens well. They make it quick too, but you can tell it’s fresh. Highly recommend???”

“We had 1 week holiday in a house 30 seconds away, and after having our first nights meal here we loved it. We then had 5 more nights of meals here (tried the specials and the normal menu items, and the kids had the kids menu food). This also coincided with a stag do and the meal was here.
All our meals were delicious, big but not too big, and the cocktails and drinks were all perfect.
Some people have mentioned price but honestly we never spent more than £100 for a family of 4 with desserts and more than 1 drink each etc. So (given that its Croyde, which is not going to be cheap) the pricing was spot on.
Highly recommended and would go again for sure. Staff also very friendly.”
