First weekend of serving food for the new landlords. Their Sunday lunches are phenomenal, at £17 for a mixed meat including pork, lamb, beef and turkey I was seriously impressed. The chap behind the bar convinced me to try their sundae, fair to say it was a good shout, outstanding. We visited friends in the local area and they bought us here. Super friendly staff and locals, very good priced drinks too. The pub itself is lovely, very cosy look and feel with the decor. Good range of drinks available and has a pool table in a function room too. Facilities are good (I can only speak to the ladies but I was very impressed!). Stopped off here this evening for a quick bite to eat and a quick drink… great quality food at very reasonable prices.. sat on the deck and watched the sunset.. we will be returning on our next visit..
