Had dinner here while staying overnight at the hotel. The menu was a bit limited but the food was lovely, the service was good and the surroundings were very pleasant. Breakfast in the morning was also very good. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would eat in the restaurant if visiting again.
We booked last minute on a Sunday for lunch,the staff were very friendly when we arrived and showed us to our table,we then found out that you could order from the bar menu as well as the carvery which made our 2 daughters very happy,the carvery was lovely with a great selection of vegetables and the memeber of staff serving the meat was super friendly and helpful,one of our daughters had the fish and chips and this was a generous portion and cooked to perfection,we are local...read full review

Some hotel restaurants are a bit blandish...but not here! Outside look of the hotel is a little corporate but inside the lounge, bar and restaurant are really nice spaces. I had the spicy meatballs to start, very tasty, very filling and fresh. Cheeseboard was delicious and good value for money, as was the Shiraz! Waiting staff all pleasant, efficient and friendly.
