We visited the Angel for a special occasion on a Saturday and had a superb meal. Had the set/taster menu (only option on a Saturday evening) which they adjusted for dietary needs. Whilst not cheap it was worth every penny. Every dish (including the canapés which were not on the list) was excellent, for me the squid ink mussel served with they salmon was out of this world. My wife and I were visiting Dartmouth as an overnight stop off, and she booked The Angel as a birthday treat for me. I am lucky enough to have eaten in some top restaurants, and The Angel is right up there with the best of them. Fantastic tasting menu with all dishes beautifully presented.
