We had a lovely couple of nights stay at the Royal Castle Hotel. Beautiful location on the harbour, lovely cosy little bar downstairs which serves up the most delicious Sunday roast and the staff are really helpful and made our stay even more enjoyable. Thank you.Our room was amazing with a four poster bed and jacuzzi bath, it’s definitely worth the climb to the top :)Very dog friendly too, doggie treat menu a nice touch!
We stayed for 2 nights in January. Had dinner at the hotel the first night and it was so lovely we booked in for the second one. It was popular even in the 'off' season so I would recommend you book. The staff were lovely, the room was quirky (and cosy) up in the attic. Breakfast was really good. Lots of history, lovely bar area, very friendly. Would happily revisit.

A wild and wet day outside on a visit to Dartmouth and the Royal Castle was a godsend. Needing somewhere warm and comfortable for lunch this proved to be perfect! A warm welcome, friendly and helpful staff and great food and drinks! Could not have asked for more!!
