Great food, lovely staff, clean and fresh setting. In our party: 1 vegetarian, 2 carnivores and 1 fussy teenager, all left very satisfied customers. Will comeback again. Best bacon, brie and cranberry toastie I've had!
We walked here from Dawlish Warren on a very rainy day. This restaurant is the best place we have eaten in, in Devon. It was clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the service was quick and the food was delicious. Portions were massive and the coffee was good too! We will definitely return if we are in Devon again. Thank you John's! A real highlight of our holiday?

1st time I visited mid-week for a coffee and a ciggy. Sat outside watching the world go by - decided I'd have a small breakfast as well as coffee. Lovely local produce, information on board inside as to source. Piping hot and cooked well - staff very attentive, but not in your face. Repeated again on the Sat as I had an hour to kill before train home - very busy, but still the great service and food - I did notice a 5 star notice, well deserved.
