A group of us came to the Stand off to watch the football. The staff could not have been more welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble, and the landlord (?) went out of his way to ensure we had the best view of the screen and attended to our table all night. The food was great and reasonably priced. I couldn’t recommend this pub more highly.
We went to a rugby match and was recommended this venue for some pre match food and drinks. I was concerned to see just one young lady waiting all the tables in this busy pub. I expected a long wait for service especially as our table was as far away from the bar as you could possibly get. How wrong could I be !!! We were led to our table and the drinks order taken. Jaz and her team were amazing. Despite some confusion with our table booking they managed to sort us a table on the busiest night and did with calmness and ease. Natalie kept drinks coming even with a busy bar. So good. Great for a rugby game.
