Modbury is very fortunate to have The CO-OP it's so well stocked with both Fresh Food - Chilled & Frozen often at very Competitive prices bearing in mind it's convenience, The Staff I have to say are so friendly-Helpful- quick to respond to any queries, I do have to pick out one or two extra special ones Shirley and Tamiko - Tracey- Nicky and a lot of the male staff as well, Thank you all for going the extra mile Michael Astill
Excellent little shop, have everything you could need. Although, If you're visiting Modbury for the first time, you need to be aware of the plastic bag ban! (We weren't familiar until it was too late..)

In need of a self service checkout. Queues are too long and I'm often waiting whilst the customer in front slowly packs their shopping.Staff are friendly, but it does seem short staffed and often closes early (with little notice) because of this.Edit: reduced to 3 stars as I have found prices marked incorrectly, and out of date items on the shelves.
