From the moment arriving at the Plantation House hotel, it was clear that Richard and his team’s attention to detail was first class - the greeting with tea and cake, personal service to access the rooms, bar service, a private dinner for 12, as we’d booked most of the hotel for a wedding nearby, the breakfast etc etc, all attended to personally by Richard and his amazing team. One of the best little UK hotels we have stayed in. Since C-19 the service in the UK has slipped, but this little place exceeding our expectations. The staff are extremely welcoming and nothing is too much trouble!Rooms: Very clean, welcoming and complimentary fruit bowl. Thank you to Richard and his amazing team for making our 3 night stay so wonderful and memorable. Room 22 was so relaxing with amazing views over the valley. Your team make the place feel like home with nothing too much bother for them. Oh and the food… just outstanding… I have been told I have to mention the porridge .!!
