7 of us stayed for the weekend in all three rooms and had a lovely time. The pub is cosy and friendly, very local to beautiful Hope Cove and Salcombe. Walking distance to a handy Asda, easy free local parking, and a good old pool table to entertain us in the evenings. Comfy beds, hot showers, great beer and wine and a fabulous Sunday roast.
Absolutely love this quirky pub, what a great place to stay. Tim was a great host.The room was lovely and clean and tidy and very comfy, Tim made up the sofa bed just before we arrived to make it more comfy for two friends staying together. I loved the vintage pieces of furniture, gave the room character.The food was cooked to order, fresh and very tasty. We had a cooked breakfast each morning, a fish and chips one evening and were lucky to be there for the quiz night to taste...read full review

Friendly eclectic pub. So nice to see a 'local' pub doing so well on a Tuesday night out of season.Walkability: Great awalking in the area from Coastal Path to inland footpaths and bridleways. Safe path/Cycle way all the way into Salcombe from Marlborough. ???
