I've reviewed the sloop before but thought it was worth doing so again. My partner and I do eat there occasionally as he gets blue light discount on the food and we arrange our visits in 'wine Wednesday' when they offer a bottle of house wine for an amazing £7.99. We decided to go in today to take advantage of their January special £5 meals. Called in on the way to the SBR convention. Nice place, clean, tidy, what you'd expect.Southern prices but it's what you expect in this sort of area. Nice pint of San Miguel so can't complain.Knowledgeable staff, friendly and good food.

Visited here for lunch. Food was great, great selection of drinks available. The guy who helped us...Paul I think, was brilliant.Highly recommend, and shout out to Paul. We'll definitely visit again
