Aller Mills, Aller Rd, Kingskerswell, Newton AbbotOur first time dining out on Christmas Day, well worth the extra cost, really well organised, every care taken to make sure you had a first class experience. The meals were pre-ordered, and there was plenty of choice for adults, and a separate children's menu also with choices. The decorated tables were nicely spaced out so that it was your space as a group. The food was well cooked and absolutely delicious, and the portions were enormous, just as well with my family. The children's portion was big enough for most adults! We asked for a box to take home some of the children's meal, too good to waste. Gerald and his team were fantastic, friendly,professional and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you to everyone at the Barn Owl, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Aller Brake Rd, Kingskerswell, Newton AbbotWhat a cool little place this was. Don't be fooled by the exterior as you may well turn around and head off as it looks shut up from the outside. The smell of food and the clinking of cutlery told me it was open and when I entered it was a warm and friendly atmosphere - and the dogs were allowed in! Bonus!We ordered from the plentiful menu and waited. The food arrived along with the delicious milkshakes the kids had ordered. The toast was great - farmhouse doorsteps with plenty of butter and the range of breakfasts didn't disappoint.Not the cheapest or highest quality ingredients I've ever had but it definitely filled a gap and tasted great.The toilets are bolted on outside and could do with a bit of an upgrade but they were clean and they were there!Would recommend this place if you're travelling by.

Newton Rd, Kingskerswell, Newton AbbotFab wholesome quality food with free pudding on a Thursday , sticky toffee my favorite. Great staff, dog friendly and great deals on the drinks if you are so inclined !Parking: Parking as you come in off street and full car park at the back
