Service can be slow at times when only 1 or 2 serving at bar , and there is a enough toilet checks in gents, and also the disabled toilets. But saying that the bar staff do the best they can.
Great hostelry, good service, plain food at reasonable prices, atmosphere is great. This pub is popular, as are all of the Wetherspoons, because the prices are the best. The menu is extensive and the food is tasty and usually hot. However on this last visit the meal was a long time arriving, and cold. Great choice of drinks, particularly draught beers and ciders.

Fairly friendly staff, took a while to get served an other member of staff was doing something else. Food arrived quickly and was hot tasty & well presented, prices of food seem to be getting higher and not such a big draw to spoons, toilets upstairs & miles away, disabled loo was locked so had to struggle up the stairs, saw a man with crutches spend a while trying to locate a radar key.Will probably return here for my dinner.
