Food was good, lots of meat and veg to choose from on the carvery plus additional menu. Staff were very friendly, great customer service. Lovely place, very chrismasy, not your traditional cozy country pub style but a little more open, with a 1970s feel. We will visit again.Dietary restrictions: They accommodate gluten free and vegan, just let them know when booking.
We visited the Countryman for a Sunday carvery. We received a warm welcome as did our two dogs. The entire team give fantastic service. We were greeted in a friendly manner. The gentleman serving our carvery did so with great humour and was very helpful in providing gluten free options. The team at the bar were great serving our drinks and water for our dogs. We've just got back from celebrating my 70th birthday. I couldn't have wished for better. Thank you to everybody, staff and customers, for your service and all singing Happy Birthday. Although I was highly embarrassed it was brilliant.
