We had a last minute decision weekend to get away from our life.... this little dinner crowned our wonderful day... we looked on google for a light little dinner and Anchor's rest was close and have already 4.8 stars on the maps.....Our host/bartender/waiter was Richard. Staff were lovely, food was lovely. The upstairs restaurant interfered with the experience downstairs at the Anchor. They need to show the team and the guests downstairs more respect.

Warm and welcome service from the staff, good food too! Thank you so much for having us late on a Friday night. We enjoyed the fish of the day, lovely cooked seabass and the mussels with cream were delicious! I would recommend this place for the caring service and cosy inviting decor.
